The Giving Voice campaign aims to highlight the important contribution that Speech and Language Therapy makes to a range of client groups and identify the impact and prevalence of communication difficulties throughout the sectors.  Significantly they are trying to show the importance of effective communication to our quality of life and participation in the world around us.

It is especially important that individuals with dual diagnosis of learning disability and mental health conditions receive support from Speech and Language Therapy services to enable them to access services, receive accessible information and be involved in decisions about their lives.

Therefore Sequence Care Group Speech and Language Therapy department are celebrating the importance of communication for our clients in keeping with the Royal College of Speech & Language Therapist’s Giving Voice campaign.

Four of our units have been selected to host a day of fun and information with staff, clients, families and external professionals between the 28th of April and the 1st of May.
